Configuring MFA in Unifi

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in Unifi enhances the security of your Ubiquiti account by requiring additional verification steps. Ubiquiti provide authentication options through apps and email, along with backup recovery codes.

Please Note: MFA cannot be reset by us, so ensure you have backup methods in place.

Setting Up MFA

Log in to your Ubiquiti account at account.ui.com. Navigate to the My Security section. Select your preferred MFA Option. We recommend using any popular authentication app like Google authenticator, Twilio (Authy) or Microsoft Authenticator, however you can now also use the UI Verify app (which is available for iOS / Android) for seamless single-click authentication on your mobile device.
