Configuring the Firewall feature for your controller

This section provides the necessary detail to apply or update an ip address to your own firewall. This will enable restrictions being applied meaning only users coming from the IP address you specify can reach the user interface for your service. You are apply this by single IP (/32) or by another CIDR range (if you own multiple ip's within the same range)

We know IP's sometimes change which is why we make it super easy to update. It only takes a maximum of 2 minutes for each change you make.

How do I set it up?

To access this feature, you need to sign in to your account at https://account.illumii.io, from here you can go to the settings page where you'll see an option for 'Personal Firewall / Access Control'.

Clicking on this section will open a pop-up window to apply your desired configuration. All you need to do it select your server from the drop down and add your public IP address, clicking on 'Confirm IP Rule' will ensure the changes are deployed and your controllers domain name (and it's ip address) will no longer be accessible by the whole world.
